On this episode I’m joined by Tim Lawrie who is the founder of a Med Tech Recruitment Agency called Projectus Consulting.

Having worked in recruitment for 6 years he decided to start his own business when his partner fell pregnant with their first child.

“If I didn’t do it now, I would never do it …” This isn’t the first time I have heard this be the ultimate catalyst to go out on your own.

Tim had no plan B for this business, it was going to work or he was going to fail.

7 years on and he has grown a recruitment business from his home to now a multi million pound net fee income business.

We really dive into how Tim has achieved this, we discuss the importance of re-investing in the business, becoming more & more comfortable with hiring people to take on responsibilities you typically did in the past, the challenges of hiring for the business and how Tim has always communicated the vision for the business to his employees.
